Frost sat in her cave, washing the water off her paws. She had been bathing after she had skidded in the mud. Once she was satisfied with the state of her paws, she got up and started to clean the den. Her reflection danced at her as she peeked into the little pool of water in the corner of the den. The stripe was still there, and Frost hated it. It never came off. Grr. She felt like fighting it, but what was there to fight? It was an invisible enemy, only seen by those who cared. She glanced out of the cave den and saw the quarter-moon shine down on her. Suddenly a loud shuffling came from the bushes and a cat leaped out. Frost staggered back, surprised.
